Custom Transmission Tuning (TCM)

When larger turbo chargers are added to these trucks, the usable RPM range is shifted up. Engine speeds where a stock turbocharger would be happy, may be laggy, smokey, or hot on the pyro after the addition of a larger turbo. Tuning the transmission on these trucks is the best tool available for making sure the engine is operating within its preferred rev range. Trans tuning yields less smoke, lower EGTs, better throttle response, less turbo lag, and quicker track times. Transmission controller is located on the drivers side of the radiator shroud of all Duramax powered GM's. This type of tuning is typically recommended for trucks running any of these turbos (please specify your turbo): It's required that either the TCM be sent in to us or a core charge be paid for this work to be done.
