This tuning suite is nothing short of incredible. The edit/tune software will keep you busy for days just playing around learning all the cool new stuff you can do. No other tuner, programmer, or module box can hold a candle to this package. You, the user can personally command changes to fuel pressure, fuel quanity, desired boost pressure, shift speed, rev limit, speed limit, torque management, and many many more. Unlike traditional tuning boxes which may offer three or ten tunes to choose from, EFILive allows the user to build and test as many tunes as he like. Sell all of your other modules, foolers, gadgets. EFILive is the last tuning tool you'll need.

Along with the edit software, purchasers will receive a world class scan tool that allows real time data collection from all vehicle sensors (compatible with most GM vehicles newer than '98). The scan tool gives the user insight into areas of the tune in need of adjustement, which means the calibration can be adjusted to get the best out of your particular engine/trans combination.

LB7 and LLY buyers: You'll get to select from a large variety of scripts and tunes in the library. These scripts are labled between 320 and 500RWHP for stock turbo and stock injector trucks. 400 is pushing your limit on the stock trans, and you'll need lift pump to go over 450RWHP. Driver and usage go a long way. You'll also receive a DSP2 switch kit and access to our exclusive library of flash tutorials (video) to help you get started on your own adjustments.

Also, to use the scripts in the library it may be helpful to see the free PDF on scripting. Tunes in the library are generaly marked for their HP output. As a rough guide 400RWHP is the limit for sustainablity on a stock trans and over 425RWHP it's recommended to add a lift pump. Driver and usage go a long way. By now you've no doubt noticed that this software is very powerful. Please be advised that the Duramax is a fairly resilient engine, it can handle some pretty bad tunes for quite a while, but the user needs to be careful. Be sure to either watch my video tutorials, search www.dieselplace.com, or work in small incrimental changes when you're unsure. Any time you're making calibration changes from stock, you're working outside the factory warranty and are responsible for failures that may occur as a result. Don't be scared, tune smart and know your limits.

VERY IMPORTANT: Always attempt a .cal reflash before attempting a full O.S. reflash your first time flashing the ECM. Also, disconnect power to all after-market electronics, and disconnect all module type boxes (Edge, Banks, ect.) in the truck before using EFILive (they may be reconnected afterward but using them to add power is not advisable).

Purchasers of this software will get help with future tune building, and 1 yr access to the tune library.
