Factory rated output for the L5D is 350 HP and 750 ft-lbs of torque, 95 HP and 160 ft-lbs less than the L5P used in the 2500 and 3500 pickups. Our favorite part about these trucks is how well they respond to tuning! With up to +125 RWHP over stock on tap (depending upon tune selection) it's like driving a whole different truck!

  Extra attention has been invested to develop Duramaxtuner's engine tuning for L5D’s with the 6-Speed Allison Heavy Duty. Currently, there is no TCM Tuning available for these transmissions. However, the team at Calibrated Power Solutions have spent countless hours going through every aspect of the ECM Tune File to ensure you have the best driving and most effective tuning possible.
